The Tuscaloosa County Branch of the NAACP proudly invites you, your organization, family, friends, and supporters to be part of the annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, for the Annual Parade, Community Celebration, and, new for 2026, the Juneteenth Car Show.

Juneteenth Parade Information

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026

Line-Up: 9 a.m.

Line-Up Location: Westlawn Middle School, 1715 Martin Luther King Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

Parade Commencement: 10 a.m.

The community parade will feature a parade route through Western Tuscaloosa, local organizations, and local high school marching bands.

Community Celebration

The community celebration starts immediately following the parade, featuring vendors, food trucks, Family-friendly activities, and NEW for 2026, a Juneteenth Car Show from Noon to 4 p.m. at Palmore Park, 3701 Fosters Ferry Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

According to the press release, they are “asking community organizations, churches, schools, businesses, civic groups, car clubs, and residents to participate in the parade and help us make this celebration one of the largest Juneteenth events in West Alabama.”
