Kicking off this April in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Tuscaloosa’s One Place is launching its month-long “Strengthening Families Campaign.” The initiative aims to unite the community in supporting vulnerable children and families, helping ensure they have the resources and encouragement needed to reach their full potential.

Strengthening Families Campaign

Proceeds from the campaign will go directly toward supporting families in need through the programs and resources offered by Tuscaloosa’s One Place. These services are designed to foster self-sufficiency, strengthen resilience, and prevent child abuse and neglect. Helping create a brighter future for the entire community.

“An anonymous donor has generously committed to match every dollar raised — up to $10,000 — amplifying the impact of each contribution,” said the press release.

“Through this campaign, Tuscaloosa’s One Place can continue to provide programming that helps strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect throughout West Alabama,” said Dr. Kevin Besnoy, executive director of Tuscaloosa’s One Place. “When children and families are supported, communities thrive.”
