“The work we do at Tuscaloosa’s One Place is aimed at addressing the critical needs of families in our community. By implementing our re-entry program, we are able to provide key resources and support convicted felons as they adjust to life outside of prison. Ultimately, our goal is to help those participants successfully reestablish themselves with their own families and community,” said Tuscaloosa’s One Place Executive Director Dr. Kevin Besnoy.
“We depend greatly on community partners, like the Alabama Power Foundation, to help us provide quality services to the families in West Alabama. By supporting this program, the Alabama Power Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to making a difference in the local community. We are very appreciative of the belief (or should it be faith) they have in Tuscaloosa's One Place and this innovative program”.
