Urgent Care for Children Is Now Offering Curbside COVID-19 Testing
Our area has seen an increase of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases. The Urgent Care for Children has notified us that they are testing for the coronavirus.
Here is the information:
“Urgent Care for Children is testing at all 5 locations for the coronavirus. Three locations in Birmingham at Vestavia, Trussville and Madison, Al., one location in Tuscaloosa on Rice Mine Road, and one location in Madison, Al.”
According to the Urgent Care for Children website, “Urgent Care for Children is now offering to perform curbside COVID-19 testing, which will be sent to a third-party lab and return results typically within 24 hours. Please call your closest clinic location for more details prior to arriving.”
They have given some specific instructions as well:
“Before going to Urgent Care for Children, go to https://www.childrensurgent.com/ website and schedule a telemedicine provider meeting. Once they have decided you are eligible for testing, you will be given time to come to their locations.”
