Get ready for the biggest party in T-Town-- Tuscaloosa Volksfest is back, and it's going to be bigger and better than ever! Tuscaloosa's own German heritage festival returns for its second year of fun, food, and drinks Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Volksfest, brought to you by FOCUS on Senior Citizens, will be held at Government Plaza downtown, and it's your chance to celebrate the amazing German heritage that helps make Tuscaloosa so unique. Volksfest is SO MUCH fun, and you don't want to miss it. It's going down from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and tickets are on sale now.

This year, Adams Beverage will sponsor a Biergarten tent and you'll be able to try special German-style beers from Tuscaloosa's own breweries. There will be delicious German food from Edelweiss, The Levee, Mix'd, and Lolly's Sugar Shack, and Volksfest will also be catered by Chef Pleshette Bevelle. You'll get to chow down on authentic German dishes and other great fare while you listen to German music from Wolfgang Moritz and the Oom-Pahsters.

Volksfest also features a children's area with face painting, arts and crafts, an obstacle course, inflatables, and furry friends from Tuscaloosa Barnyard. Children's activities are FREE, and kids under 14 get in FREE with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, or you can purchase a VIP ticket for $50--you'll receive a T-Shirt, Volksfest mug, and three beer tokens. Buy yours now by clicking the button below. For more info, check out the official Volksfest Facebook Event Page HERE.
