Warmer Waters = More Sharks

As we head to the beaches this summer, make sure you are staying aware.  This month there were three more unprovoked shark attacks off the North Carolina Coast.  The ocean waters will be getting warmer and this is very inviting for the sharks.  The last attack was on Sunday, June 16, 2019 with an eight year old boy who was bitten on his leg while near South Beach, North Carolina.  Earlier this month a diver had a video encounter with a Great White Shark in Orange Beach.  I’ll keep you posted on beach weather and safety tips all summer long. - @MaryKRadio
