The novel Coronavirus pandemic continues to impact the nation, and everyone needs to take the necessary precautions to prevent its spread--even Big Al.

In a new video posted to the official University of Alabama Twitter account Thursday (May 21st) afternoon, UA's lovable mascot can be seen hanging out in the Mal Moore Athletic Complex without his PPE.

Big Al is stopped by Head Coach Nick Saban and Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine Jeff Allen. Saban and Allen encourage Big Al to put on a face mask and to remember to practice social distancing.

The video ends with a special address from Saban, who reminds fans that they must all do their part to flatten the curve if they want to watch the Tide roll this fall.

Look, I know a lot of people who are refusing to wear masks in public, but there can be no debate now. Nick Saban has told us we need to wear masks, so let's get serious and put those masks on now.

Roll Tide!
