Funds raised through the 2026 festival resulted in $38,000 donations to both Table of Grace and the Humane Society of West Alabama. Through its charitable mission, the festival has now contributed $356,000 to local nonprofits since its inception.

"Seeing these donations returned to our community is the most rewarding part of what we do," said Amy Martin, Executive Director of the West Alabama Food & Wine Festival. "Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, and volunteer hour given helps create a lasting impact for local organizations. As we celebrate this year's success and look ahead to April 18, 2027, we're grateful for a community that continues to support our mission of giving back."

“The 2026 festival marked the second and final year of funding for the Humane Society of West Alabama and the first of two years of support for Table of Grace food pantry,” said the press release. Under the festival’s beneficiary program, selected nonprofits receive funding for two consecutive years, allowing for long-term support.

As planning begins for the festival’s next charitable partnership, applications for the 2027–2029 beneficiary partnership will open on September 1, 2026. Interested 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving West Alabama can apply at WestAlabamaFoodAndWine.org.

Be sure to save the date for the 2027 West Alabama Food & Wine Festival. It will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2027, in Downtown Northport.
