Winning the lottery is supposed to be a life changing experience. The odds of anyone winning are millions to one. Winning the lottery should make all your dreams come true. In this winner’s case winning the lottery could have caused just the opposite.

Winning proved deadly to a Georgia lottery winner. Seven suspects ages ranging from 17 to 28 in Georgia have been arrested and charged in connection of the shooting death of a 20-year-old winner of $434,272 in the Fantasy 5 jackpot in November.

The suspects showed up at the winner’s home with the intention of robbing him of his some of his winnings. Only one of the seven suspects is charged with murder.
