Worst Intersections in Tuscaloosa
Our local traffic report provider recently held a poll for the worst intersections in Tuscaloosa and Northport. One came out extremely high in comparison to the others.
I see the options, and I must disagree with the top choice. The absolute worst to me is Skyland and McFarland.
Though removing the intersection before the interstate interchange has significantly helped with the flow of traffic from Skyland to McFarland westbound, the lights for the turning lanes don't stay green long enough. All it takes is one distracted driver in the front, and sometimes even the third car back will have to sit through another cycle.
Would you choose one of the above, or do you think another is worse? If so, which one? And why?
