An Opelika ninth grader made headlines in 2015 for turning down a $30M buyout of a vending machine he created called RecMed.

14-year-old Taylor Rosenthal's invention functions similarly to a Redbox but dispenses first aid supplies rather than DVDs.

The initial offer he received from an anonymous source was $30 million! He told CNBC that when he got the first offer, he felt it wasn't right and wanted to grow the business more. Rosenthal is now looking to sell his vending machine company for $50 million.

RecMed has already raised $100,000 from angel investors.

How do you feel? Would you have turned down the $30M offer in favor of growing the business? Please leave us your thoughts below. We want to know how you feel.

We wish this young man the best of luck!
