Three people were injured and a suspect is in custody after a church shooting in East Selma, Alabama, on Sunday. According to Selma Times-Journal, James Minter was arrested after the shooting Sunday at the Oasis Church in East Selma, Alabama. Minter allegedly shot his girlfriend, her newborn baby and Robert Carswell, the pastor of Oasis Tabernacle.

The shooting stems from a domestic issue between Minter and the woman and that race was not a factor the pastor is white, while Minter and the two other victims are black.

Minter is being held without bond at the Dallas County jail.
