There's nothing like a packed Bryant-Denny Stadium cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide. The ADPH wants to make sure the stadium and student section are full of vaccinated fans.

It's no secret that COVID-19 is still a very real concern for the public. The Alabama Department of Public Health is doing its part to help students, faculty/staff, and fans get vaccinated. Saturday, September 25th, the ADPH KICK COVID program will offer free vaccines on campus during the Southern Miss Vs. Alabama game. Fans will get hooked up with a $75 gift card to the Supe Store after receiving the vaccine.

In a video posted to Twitter, the University of Alabama tweeted a video featuring the University of Alabama football players Evan Neal, Slade Bolden, Will Reichard, Will Anderson & John Metchie III.

The video encourages fans to "Be a champion" and get vaccinated. It opens with John Metchie III, "I like to catch touchdowns. One thing I don't like to catch is COVID-19."

The ADPH KICK COVID program will not only make a stop at the University of Alabama, but they also will be at Auburn and Samford on the same day. So far, the program will be making its stop at fourteen colleges in the state of Alabama.

KICK COVID is a statewide program by the Alabama Department of Public Health offering COVID-19 vaccinations and testing at select football gamedays in Alabama. On-site vaccinations are provided by HNH Immunizations / Health Heroes. Check out the KICK COVID site schedule.
