Temp Guide: Alabamians Get Prepared for Summer’s Hottest Conditions
West Alabama has had multiple days of brutal temperatures. Now our area is faced with some of the hottest conditions of the Summer.
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that “a strong upper high covers much of the eastern 2/3 of the U.S. this morning, and will set the stage for the hottest week of the summer for the Deep South.”
This mix of hot and humid conditions this week could result in soaring heat index values. The National Weather Service in Birmingham said that “this could cause heat stress for those with prolonged exposure to the heat.”
