In what is becoming an unfortunate common occurrence lately, there was another homicide in Tuscaloosa over the weekend.

Tuscaloosa Police, along with investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit, responded to a shooting which happened at approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday, (6/17), in the West End area of Tuscaloosa. The victim, Willie Terrell Snyder, 28, was found near Kaulton and Beech Street, in a field just south of a trailer park.

According to Captain Kip Hart, assistant commander of the Violent Crimes Unit, Snyder  had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and was taken to DCH where he was pronounced dead.

Police are currently looking for Shaquile Deanthony Crawford, 24, who is being accused of fatally shooting Snyder. Investigators have obtained a warrant for his arrest, and say that Crawford should be considered armed and dangerous
