Nick Saban's 2021 recruiting class continues to grow as defensive tackle Tim Keenan of Ramsay High School in Birmingham announced his commitment to the University of Alabama Saturday morning.

Defensive backs coach lead the charge on Keenan's recruitment alongside defensive line coach Freddie Roach. Keenan is a 3-star recruit according to 247Sports, but has a 4-star rating in the eyes of the Rivals scouts. He's a top-25 defensive tackle for both sites, 22 for 247Sports, 18 for Rivals.

Keenan chose the Crimson Tide over Auburn, Georgia, Oregon and Georgia Tech.

"The expectations at Alabama is what makes them different for me," Keenan told Rivals. "They expect to win the national championship every year. They push each other. They work hard. They expect to be a top contender. I want to play the best, I want to play with the best, and I want to play for the best school. That is Alabama."

At 6'2", 330 pounds is block eater on the interior. Barton Simmons of 247Sports praised his presence at the line of scrimmage, with a good motor to boot.

Still, the big man knows how to make plays, marking 43 tackles, 21 for loss accompanied by eight sacks. And he's picking up right where he left off a year ago.

Alabama now has 20 commits for the 2021 class which ranks as the number two class in the country on 247Sports metrics narrowly behind Ohio State. Keenan joins Michigan 5-star Damon Payne, Montgomery 3-star Anquin Barnes on the defensive interior of the class.
