Keenan chose the Crimson Tide over Auburn, Georgia, Oregon and Georgia Tech.

"The expectations at Alabama is what makes them different for me," Keenan told Rivals. "They expect to win the national championship every year. They push each other. They work hard. They expect to be a top contender. I want to play the best, I want to play with the best, and I want to play for the best school. That is Alabama."

At 6'2", 330 pounds is block eater on the interior. Barton Simmons of 247Sports praised his presence at the line of scrimmage, with a good motor to boot.

Alabama now has 20 commits for the 2021 class which ranks as the number two class in the country on 247Sports metrics narrowly behind Ohio State. Keenan joins Michigan 5-star Damon Payne, Montgomery 3-star Anquin Barnes on the defensive interior of the class.
