Chick-fil-A Joins Coca-Cola and Randall-Reilly to Donate 600 Meals to Truck Drivers
Tuscaloosa and Northport-area Chick-fil-A restaurants have teamed up with Coca-Cola and Randall-Reilly to donate 600 free boxed meals to truck drivers on Tuesday, May 12th.
Truck drivers passing through the area are invited to visit the I-20/59 rest stops (both northbound and southbound) located near mile marker 85 for a free Chick-fil-A boxed meal. Upon entering the rest area, truckers can drive up to the red Chick-fil-A tents to receive their free boxed meal, a bottle of water and a care package donated by Randall-Reilly. The event will be first-come, first-served.
This donation is part of a broader COVID-19 relief effort by Chick-fil-A, Inc. The restaurant company announced in April that it would distribute $10.8 million to its network of more than 1,800 independent Owner-Operators to have an immediate impact on the needs of local communities, including food or other donations to first responders, health care workers, Chick-fil-A restaurant Team Members and their families.
