Face masks will be required within the City of Tuscaloosa beginning Monday, July 6th, as a means of preventing the spread of the novel Coronavirus. The mask mandate remains in effect through Wednesday, August 5th.

The mask ordinance requires citizens to wear face masks that cover both the face and nose at all times when interacting in public spaces. Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox explains the mandate in greater detail in the video below.
