If you are like me, you are making a resolution to NOT make any resolutions. However, there are many people across Alabama making their resolutions known for 2023.

According to Zippia, “41% of Americans make New Year’s resolutions, but only 9% are successful.”

That sounds about right!

In the Zippia research summary, “seeking therapy is the most popular New Year’s resolution, being the top choice in 12 states.” Alabama was not one of those states.

If you are making a New Year’s Resolution, what is it?

To quit smoking?

Go on more dates?

Make it to the gym more?

Find a new job?

The lists of resolutions are endless.

In Alabama, the top New Year’s resolution was centered on “weight loss,” according to Zippia. Alabama joined 7 other states in this popular resolution which were Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia.

If you are making a New Year’s resolution, good luck. I wish you the best.
