It's the most wonderful time of the year. Fed-Ex, UPS, and USPS are working as hard as they can to make sure your presents are at your home in time. Cyber Monday is weeks away, which means tons of packages will be making there way to your home. But, if you work a full-time job, or are barely home, how can you keep your packages safe from any robbers?

Well, here's a few ways to keep your packages safe for the holidays.

1. Before you press the shipping option, find out if your local carriers offer a way to hold your package at their office. USPS has a program called Package Intercept, this is great if you don't think you'll be home around the time your mailman comes.

2. If you have home cameras, make sure they are on and they WORK! Robbers are checking to see a red dot or the cord plugged in a socket.

3. Use signature confirmation, this means the carrier can not drop the package off at your house unless an authorized person signs for the package.

4. If you have a full-time job, or work night hours, have the package shipped to your job. Make sure its okay with your boss first.

5. Love thy neighbor! If you have a good relationship with your neighbor who is home a lot, ask them if they can pick up your package if they see a carrier dropping them off.

Here's to a wonderful holiday season!
