Graduations and Inaugurations: Busy Morning in Tuscaloosa
This morning, I did a good bit of running, but it was well worth it!
I started off getting Jireh prepared for her kindergarten "graduation." Once I got her to school, I went by my mom's to check on her and see if she wanted to go to the celebration, as she would have three grands participating. (My older brother's daughter is 3 1/2 months older than my daughter, and my youngest brother's daughter is 5 months younger.) My grandmother and aunt were already there, helping her get ready and making sure she got there.
After the kindergarten celebration, I made my way to the inauguration for the Tuscaloosa City Council, Mayor, and City School Board.
It was a very action-packed morning, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Being with family and supporting the community are just a few of the highlights of life in Tuscaloosa!
