Admittedly, I haven't thought anything about Lionel Richie or his music in a long time until this morning.  I received a phone call from someone talking about the video for "Hello."

"Have you ever seen the video?" he asked.

"I don't think so."

"You should check it out. It's pretty creepy."

"Wait a minute!  What in the world made you think about that NOW?" I wanted to know.

"Well, I was listening to the song while driving and decided to watch the video," he replied.

"Ok. I just pulled into my driveway," I told him. "I'll pull it up on my phone and watch it now."

I did as I said.  I hate that I did. The song that I previously found to be old school romantic now seems a bit creepy.

There are so many things wrong with this.  For starters, (although we all know that it didn't just start happening) the student-teacher affection seems quite inappropriate. But then, he seems to be stalking a woman.  As if that's not bad enough, it's a BLIND woman! So, she can't see him following her around.

And that's another thing. She can't see him, but she has the same affection and her "heart" allowed her to see how he looks enough to make a sculpture? Cute concept, but not exactly believable.

Oh well.  What do you think?  Am I being too analytical, or is this really as creepy as it looks?
