High Near 92 for Wednesday June 26th!

West Alabama can expect a high around 92 today with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Tonight’s low is around 71 with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms with partly cloudy conditions.

Even though our area has gotten its fair share of rain, Alabama is still experiencing drought conditions.  Apparently, these conditions are getting worse according to the U.S. Drought Monitor program which reports that “one-third of the state is either abnormally dry or experiencing a drought.”
