If you're heart is full of love and ready to give a pet a great home, we've got something for you. Check out this week's double dose of love, Captain Macheath and Polly Peachum from our friends at the Humane Society of West Alabama.

Press Release

This week's HSWA Pet of the Week is bonded pair Captain Macheath and Polly Peachum:

Captain Macheath and Polly Peachum are a bonded pair of 7-year old tabby cat siblings who were surrendered to us when their human fell ill. They are exceptionally sweet cats who miss what they had in their last home: a quiet space to call their own and supervised access to a fenced-in yard for a bit of daily fresh air. They both love watching birds out our windows, getting belly rubs, being brushed, and - of course - eating! They are large cats and would do well to lose some weight under the supervision of a veterinarian. If you have a calm home and are looking to pamper two heartbroken kitties, please contact us about these gentle giants. They have a lot of love to give and deserve a second chance at a forever home full of affection. Both cats are current on their vaccinations and neutered/spayed. Because they are seniors, their adoption fee is only $25.

All HSWA cats are available to be seen at our Cat Adoption Center in Northport. Please email humaneswa@yahoo.com or call 205-554-0011 (leave a message) to make an appointment to see these beautiful cats.
