I Dream Big Girls Basketball Team Calls on Tuscaloosa Community
Basketball season is just around the corner, and I Dream Big Charter School (IDB) is calling on the community to show up and support its girls’ basketball team as the season kicks off on October 7.
Built on the values of “Dream, Believe, Prepare, and Achieve,” the school is encouraging fans, families, and community members to cheer on these student-athletes throughout the season.

Supporting girls’ sports is about more than what happens on the court. It gives young women an opportunity to build confidence, leadership skills, discipline, teamwork, and belief in what they can accomplish.
The IDB girls’ basketball team is holding a donation drive for items to help start the season strong.
“When you support our girls, you’re not just donating to a basketball team; you’re investing in their dreams, confidence, education, and future,” said April Anthony, IDB Girls Basketball Team Operations Coordinator.

“Your support helps provide the resources, equipment, travel, uniforms, and opportunities they need to compete, grow, and represent their school with pride, said Anthony. "Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can help these young ladies dream bigger, work harder, and believe that anything is possible.”
Let’s help make sure these student-athletes have the equipment, essentials, and resources they need to hit the court ready.
