The announcement of his death on Tuesday, September 10, was made on social media on Wednesday, September 11, with a heartfelt post by a beloved family member.
Maze featuring Frankie Beverly is known for massive hits like “Golden Time of Day,” “Happy Feelings,” “Joy and Pain,” “Before I Let Go,” “Southern Girl,” and many others.
Fans are left with many memories of many decades of iconic music.
“He lived his life with pure soul, as one would say, and for us, no one did it better. He lived for his music, family, and friends. Love one another as he would want that for us all,” said the Facebook Post.
