Celebrities React to the Death of Angie Stone in Alabama Accident
Sad news arrived about Angie Stone's death on Saturday, March 1 on Saturday, March 1, at the age of 63.
She was killed in an early morning car accident in Montgomery County, Alabama, according to ABC 33-40.
Her last performance was on Friday, February 28, at the 2025 Grand Marshal's Ball in Mobile, Alabama.

“Her talent captivated everyone in attendance, and her presence truly elevated the event. Never could we have imagined that it would be the last time we would have the honor of witnessing her perform,” said Isadore B. Sims, Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association President. “The news of her passing has left us all deeply saddened, and we will always cherish the memories of her incredible talent and warm spirit.”
For me, Angie was more than a singer. She was a trailblazer whose voice and artistry shaped the sound of R&B and defined the neo-soul movement of the early 2000s.
Angie had an extraordinary ability to touch hearts with her lyrics and uplift spirits with every note. On stage, she was vibrant.
