
Tuscaloosa Tinsel Trail Grand Opening Kicks Off Holiday Season
The annual Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail kicks off the holiday season with its Grand Opening festivities on Monday, November 24.
This cherished holiday tradition will light up Downtown Tuscaloosa at Government Plaza, with the grand opening showcasing over 200 Christmas trees decorated by local businesses and organizations.
The Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail is a “celebration of the lively spirit that makes Tuscaloosa so special,” said Kevin Besnoy, Tuscaloosa’s One Place Executive Director. “Each tree tells a story, and together, they create a place for families and individuals to share in the joy of the holidays.”
Tuscaloosa’s One Place Launches 2025 Tinsel Trail Season
The Grand Opening festivities on Monday, November 24, include the trail kickoff with the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m., complimentary photos with Santa, special performances, and a variety of festive activities for all ages. The event is free and open to the public.

2025 Tinsel Trail Season
Celebrate the season at Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail, which runs from Monday, November 24, and runs through Thursday, January 1, 2026. The trail is free and open to the public.
