Just Blame Mercury Retrograde

Today in some of our listening areas, all communication tied to the internet and cell phone coverage was down for a while, as reported by Jade Nicole.  Is Mercury Retrograde to blame?  This week I am blaming everything on Mercury Retrograde.  Yeah, it’s a thing.  Right now we are in the middle of Mercury Retrograde, it started on October 31st and ends November 20th.  What exactly is Mercury Retrograde, you ask?  I feel like Country Living explains it the best, “Mercury retrograde is an optical illusion which means it looks as if the planet is moving backwards from our view here on earth. Astrologers believe that during this perceived backwards motion, technology and communication could get disrupted.”

This week alone, this has happened to me, multiple software crashes, communication breakdowns, folks have tried my patience on the phone, in person, social media direct messages, and even in email.  Also, I couldn’t find relevant documents, missed several essential phone calls, and people who I did connect with on phone calls wouldn’t let me finish a statement (rolls eyes). Time reflects that “when the planet Mercury enters apparent retrograde motion, that marks the beginning of a span of misfortune down on Earth.” In my opinion, it’s what I envision hell to be.
