A Tuscaloosa business has stepped up to help others during their time of need. The Left Hand Soap Company, located on University Boulevard downtown, is now selling face masks with proceeds to benefit the West Alabama Food Bank.

Masks will be sold at the door of the Left Hand Soap Company's workshop. Make a donation to the West Alabama Food Bank to receive yours; to date, the Left Hand Soap Company has raised $550.

The West Alabama Food Bank needs your help now more than ever. The local agency serves NINE counties in West Alabama, and with so many of our friends and neighbors out of work they are seeing a higher demand for food distribution. The Left Hand Soap Company is one of my favorite local businesses. I'm proud to be a store regular; my go-to purchases are their incredible liquid soap and body butter. I've also stocked up on hand sanitizer to ensure I am staying safe in the midst of the Coronavirus chaos.

I love that the Left Hand Soap Company has also been hooking up local businesses and agencies with hand sanitizer, too. They've distributed their hand sanitizer to DCH and to Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama, and now The Left Hand Soap Company is providing PARA with hand sanitizer for our local parks.
