The COVID-19 pandemic caused lots of events to get shuffled around and rescheduled. Honestly, I can’t keep track. It truly has been an unprecedented time for us all. This past year we have seen what it takes to keep a community strong and thriving. That’s all of us working together.

In a good news report, an event that I know everyone was looking forward last year has been rescheduled. It is the Actor’s Charitable Theatre production of School House Rock Live Jr. The Music Theatre International commented that School House Rock Live Jr. is based off the “Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon.”

The Actor’s Charitable Theatre said that “almost a year after the originally scheduled date, we bring back members of the cast and staff for this educational and energetic musical experience!”

It will take place on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Capitol Park at 2 p.m.   The Actor’s Charitable Theatre is asking for a “minimum $5 donation for those in attendance.” Also, they remind you to “bring a mask and give yourself 6 feet of elbow room.” On Facebook a fan asked if you pay at Capitol Park and the ACT responded, “Yes.”

The Actor’s Charitable Theatre noted that their missions is “to create a community theatre that allows people of all ages and experience to be involved in high qualify theatrical productions and use theatre as a means of giving back to various other organizations.”
