Today, for our area the high will be in the mid to upper 80s which is about average for this time of year. Also, you can expect showers and thunderstorms later on going into the evening.

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that an “upper ridge will be a tad stronger over the weekend, and we project highs in the 88-91 degree range tomorrow and Sunday, making it the hottest weekend so far this year.”

In addition, depending on your area, there is a 20% to 40% chance this weekend for scattered showers in the afternoon into the evening hours for our coverage area.
