Pedophilia or Just Disgusting: Tuscaloosa Man Arrested for Child Porn

The Tuscaloosa Police Department reports that 28-year-old Joel Benjamin Carpenter has been arrested on charges in relation to obscenity involving person(s) under the age of 17.

The email states that the Tuscaloosa Police Department's Juvenile Division was alerted to the possibility of the suspect possessing obscene material six weeks ago and began an investigation, which led to Carpenter's arrest on September 13. He was held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
