I’ll be honest. See, the way my patience is set up. My interest comes and goes with consignment shopping. Seriously, I have to be in the mood for it.

When I’m into it, I love consignment shopping. It’s an adventure. You can gain the benefit of savings. All while adding to your collection of clothes, household items, sports equipment, and so much more.

Today, October 5th is National Consignment Day. What I love about West and Central Alabama is that there are tons of ways to consignment shop.

Locally, I’ve found great deals at Déjà vu Consignment, Plato’s Closet, and from Twice as Nice. Not too far away, I’ve always had great success at America’s Thrift Store in Alabaster and the Salvation Army Family Store in Hoover.

You can also get great consignment deals in the virtual space too. If you are thinking about shopping online, do it. Millennial Money gives us their list of the best consignment shops and apps. Here are the top ten; click here for the full list.
