Pickens County Tornadoes Celebrate Homecoming This Week!

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post which asked which school/high school football team had the most fans. Guess what they did in Pickens County? Invited us down to see!

It's Homecoming Week at Pickens County High School; and as usual, they have a number of festivities planned.

Today, is color wars. Each class is wearing a different color. Tomorrow will be a homecoming carnival for the students and a pre-Homecoming dance.

But the main events take place Friday! Following the coronation of the Homecoming Court, there will be a pep rally. That will be followed by a block party in front of the school. From the block party is a parade, and there will be tailgating at the stadium before, during, and after the game.

WTUG and The Block will be in the mix. Be on the lookout for us, swing by and say hi, take pics, etc. If home is where the heart is, then it's our Homecoming too because our hearts are with our listeners. So, we're coming home!
