Rick Ross Gives Update on His Health: ‘Ain’t Nothing Like Home’ [PHOTO]
Roughly a week after Rick Ross was hospitalized in Florida, it looks as if he's on the road to recovery.
On Thursday (March 8), the 42-year-old rhyme-slinger went on Instagram and posted a photo of himself from behind wearing a "Black Bottle Boys" jacket and holding a bottle of Luc Belaire rosé, a brand he promotes heavily in his music. “Ain’t nothing like home. I love y’all,” he wrote in the caption.
The Miami native was released from the hospital early Monday (March 5) after spending the weekend in intensive Care Unit for an unknown heart condition. The exact reason for his hospitalization has not been officially explained. But according to reports, Ross was put on an ECMO, which took over heart and lung functions and helped restore oxygen back into his blood.
TMZ says that Rozay was actually in two different hospitals, transferred from one to another due to his condition, and at one point, was in ICU. Ross is reportedly receiving medical care at home.
The Maybach Music Group mogul has a history of seizures, suffering two within a six-hour-period in 2011. Since then, Ross has been balancing exercise with healthy snacks and dropping a lot of weight.
Ross also postponed his daughter Toie’s Sweet 16 birthday party, which was reportedly scheduled for March 17, in the wake of his health scare.
