Sister Sledge Loses a sister and Member of the Band that was formed in th 70’s

I remember growing up and blasting out of my sisters room would be sister Sledge, their big hit at the time was " We are Family ". That song was used as a rallying point for the Pittsburg Pirates as they went on to win the World series that year. It would also be part of a huge women movement Empowering women across the country to do amazing things.

Joni Sledge and her sisters Debbie, Kim and Kathy formed out the rest of the group in 1971.

This latest death just continues a string of unfortunate deaths to take place in 2016 and now in 2017
