Sub-Freezing Temperatures in Alabama Prompt Freeze Watch, Warning
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “FREEZE WATCH” and “FREEZE WARNING” for various portions of Alabama.
The “Freeze Warning” is in effect now until 10 a.m. Tuesday 10 a.m.
The “Freeze Watch” is from Tuesday Evening Through Wednesday Morning.

Marion-Lamar-Fayette-Winston-Walker-Blount-Etowah-Calhoun-Cherokee-Cleburne-Pickens-Tuscaloosa-Jefferson-Shelby-St. Clair-Talladega-Clay-Randolph-Sumter-Greene-Hale-Perry-Bibb-Chilton-Coosa-Tallapoosa-Chambers-Marengo-Dallas-Autauga-Lowndes-Elmore.
WHAT
For the Freeze Warning: sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 are expected. For the Freeze Watch: sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 possible.
IMPACTS
Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
