Sub-Freezing Temps Expected: Warning Issued for Areas of Alabama

Our area is experiencing below-average temperatures for this time of the year. This has prompted the National Weather Service in Birmingham to update our freeze watch to a warning.

A Freeze Warning is now in effect from 9 p.m. this evening until 10 a.m. Monday, March 20.

You can expect sub-freezing temperatures as low as 21 degrees for the counties listed below except for Barbour and Pike counties as their low is near 26.

Freeze Watch goes into place Tuesday, March 21 from 1 a.m. until 8 a.m.

You can expect sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 degrees for the counties listed below except for Barbour and Pike counties as their low is near 31.
