As the confetti fell, all four of the Crimson Tide alumni playing in Super Bowl LVII left the field in defeat. However, they and their Eagles teammates were part of one of the greatest Super Bowls ever played.

Hurts is a finalist for league MVP having passed for 22 touchdowns and rushed for 13 more while steamrolling through the schedule. Smith became the fastest Eagles receiver to reach 2,000 yards receiving in a career and Dickerson is a valued member of the leagues best offensive line.

Former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones can add another honor to his trophy case from the 2020 season. The College Sports Information Directors of America announced Monday that Jones along with teammate Landon Dickerson were both named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America Division 1 Football First team. Jones received special recognition as he was named the Football Academic All-American of the Year.

Alabama fans can celebrate Dickerson's selection into the NFL by watching the NFL Draft with him and his family this weekend. The lovable center will be hosting a live viewing of his draft party on Friday, April 30 at 6 p.m. hosted by 23/7 Live.
