James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist forecasts that “some rain is likely Saturday morning across the state, but that will be gone by early afternoon. Expect dry but mostly cloudy weather in Tuscaloosa with temperatures in the 60s.” Also, at his AlabamaWx blog, James Spann, commented that it “looks like the main window for rain will come from 6:00 p.m. tomorrow through 12:00 noon Saturday. Some thunder is possible, but no severe thunderstorms are expected.”

The National Weather Service in Birmingham is predicting for Tuscaloosa County “a 40 percent chance of showers before 1 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. Calm wind becoming northwest around five mph in the afternoon.”

Currently, we have been experiencing below-average temperatures for this time of the year. The rain we will receive will be close or at ½ inch for the Yellowhammer State's northern half. The southern counties could get up to a close to an inch. Next week, we could climb back into the 70s.
