UPDATE: Number of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Alabama Rises to 124
The latest release from the Alabama Department of Public Health shows that confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the state continue to climb.
There are now 124 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus within Alabama, up from last night's count of 106.
Tuscaloosa County still has only 4 confirmed cases of COVID-19; however, an issue with testing at DCH earlier this week may have skewed those numbers.
Jefferson County continues to be the epicenter of the outbreak within the state, as its number of confirmed cases is now 60. Shelby County has 16 confirmed cases of COVID-19 while Lee County has 12. Lamar, Marion, and Walker Counties all have one confirmed case of the Coronavirus.
