Former Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams has donated $25,000 worth of meals to medical professionals dealing with the COVID1-19 coronavirus in New Jersey according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Williams, with the help of celebrity chef company Brianna's Nutrition Kitchen offered doctors and nurses meals with a personalized thank you card on the box.

The New York Jets defensive lineman is in the news with some positive press after most recently being arrested in the Big Apple for attempting to board a plane with an unlicensed firearm. The New York Jets play its home games in East Rutherford, New Jersey in Bergen County. Bergen County leads the entire state of New Jersey with 9,784 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Williams was drafted with the third overall pick of last year's NFL Draft by the Jets. He played in 13 games last season accumulating 28 tackles, 2.5 sacks and recovered one fumble. He won the 2018 Outland Trophy and was also a member of the SEC First Team. Williams won a national championship and an SEC title during his time playing at Alabama.
