Alabama already has felt the impact of hail and the sizes range from a quarter to, a golf ball, and even a size of a lemon.

Spann mentioned that the “SPC has introduced a hatched area across in the enhanced risk, meaning a strong tornado (EF-2 or higher) is possible.” Also, “there will be multiple rounds of thunderstorms through tonight; the higher risk of a tornado will come this afternoon and evening. The risk of severe storms north of I-20 (Tuscaloosa to Birmingham to Anniston) is very low.”
