As of 4:00 this afternoon (Mar 31st), the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has now reached 981 statewide according to The Alabama Department Of Public Health. Tuscaloosa County now has 29 confirmed cases.

Jefferson County still has the most number of cases with 269, Shelby County has 87 confirmed cases with Walker County at 32 cases and Pickens County with 4 confirmed cases.

One of the Tuscaloosa County cases is an employee at the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney's Office has tested positive for COVID-19. We'll continue to keep you updated on this case and everything happening locally with COVID-19.
