The Alabama Crimson Tide women's basketball team recently concluded a historic season in which the team was selected for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 21 years. At the heart of the strong season was senior forward Jasmine Walker. Walker averaged 19.8 points per game in her senior season and was named SEC First Team.

Walker will wear her crimson uniform one more time as she's been invited to the Rocket Mortgage Women's 3-Point Championship. The 32nd annual State Farm Colle Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will take place at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Thursday, April 1. The event will air on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. CT.

Walker has made 78 made 3-point shots this season, good for No. 1 in the SEC this season. Her 39.8% made clip was good for fifth all-time in a single season in program history.

Walker transferred to Alabama in 2017 after one season at Florida State. During her career, Walker made 21 career double-doubles, holds Alabama's single-game scoring record (41), third in single-season three-point percentage (42.2%) in 2020-21 and third in career three-point percentage (37.4%). Walker was named SEC Player of the Week after her record-breaking game against Auburn and named a finalist for the Katrina McClain Award.

She scored 36 points across two NCAA Tournament games, making six 3-point shots.

She will compete against eight other competitors in the 3-point competition. She has already declared her intentions to enter her name in the upcoming WNBA Draft. She is projected as a top 10 pick. The draft will take place Thursday, April 15.
