Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa Injured
Today, Alabama fans are cheering on their team to win against Mississippi State. However, during the first half, Alabama’s Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa took a significant hit. According to Roll Tide Wire, “Nick Saban reported to ESPN’s Molly McGrath at halftime that Tua Tagovailoa hurt his hip. Also, the junior quarterback was holding a towel against his bloodied face, which we do not know the extent at this time.” As he was carted off the field, according to CBS Sports, “Tagovailoa was unable to put any weight on the right side of his body after injuring his right hip. He was reportedly "screaming in pain" when being removed from the cart in the locker room area, according to ESPN sideline reporter Molly McGrath.”
I was in the marching band for high school and college, and I have seen my share of football injuries, and let me tell you it is not easy to watch. I am sending Tua positive thoughts and prayers as he is being evaluated. - @MaryKRadio
