Here's some good news in Alabama! Apple CEO Tim Cook was thanked by The Alabama Department Of Public Health via Twitter Sunday evening for donating 100,000 surgical masks and 100,000 N95 masks to those fighting COVID-19 on Alabama's front line.

Born in Mobile, Tim Cook announced via Twitter 10 million masks to health care workers across the country from a stockpile the tech company had left over from construction projects. Tim Cook announced Apple's major donation to the U.S and Europe earlier this week in a tweet.

"Proud to share we’ve been able to source 10M masks for the US and millions more for the hardest hit regions in Europe. Our ops teams are helping to find and purchase masks from our supply chain in coordination with governments around the world."

We could not only use those medical, but this good news as well. With over 800 confirmed COVID-19 cases here in Alabama, we're sure those masks will be will appreciated by health care professionals on the front lines.
