Brookdale Northport to Host Fun Event on Saturday May 4

If you've ever lost a loved one to Alzheimer's disease or dementia, you know how debilitating they are, how they can cause people to forget their loved ones, and even worse... how sometimes, the loved ones forget about the person with the condition.

Fortunately, there are facilities where such people can receive proper care. Brookdale Northport is one such place.

Brookdale Northport aims to "bring new life to senior living."  One way this happens is by keeping residents active with a variety of activities.

On Saturday, May 4, a day of fun activities is planned for Brookdale Northport. May Day will include a dunk tank, bouncy houses, food, games, and more.  It goes without saying that the families and friends of Brookdale residents are encouraged to attend; but those who simply care about the aging senior sector are more than welcome as well.

Though this day is one for celebration, it can also serve as one for gathering information for those who will admit that they need assistance in caring for a loved one.
