Possible Threats

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that “where storms develop they will be capable of producing strong straight-line winds, very heavy rain, and gobs of lightning.”

Also, there is the possibility of quarter-sized hail.

Monday & Tuesday Weather Preview

We are also monitoring the possibility of severe weather across West and Central Alabama on Monday and Tuesday. The concerns are a widespread threat of damaging wind gusts and large hail. The current timing outlook is from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m.
